eight seasons and eight years later, it’s over. it’s actually over. this is depressing. i’m really going to miss this show. it’s hard to get over it quickly. i’m so attached to this show, i’m such a loser over it.
so i’ve watched pretty much every episode since season one. most of which were hollywood video rentals spent with kaitlinkelly over two summers ago. and from there, we kept it a tradition to watch the show. there was so much change over it. guest appearances by cool actors and randomly, snoop dogg (yes, snoop dogg). some characters were replaced. like monk’s therapist, mr. kroger, whose actor that played him passed away in the middle of a season. some characters grew. like natalie’s daughter, julie, who started out in the show at like ten, and by the end of the show, she’s applying to berkeley. & the fact that the setting was in san francisco.. :) there were a lot of relative places. & you could tell they did their research even though you could tell most was shot in LA. there are not that many palm trees up here in norcal. haha.
it was always fun watching with the family. and after it grew on me, it grew on the people i watched it with. kaitlin, kheelan, mom, dad. it’s so weird. fersure, no other tv show is going to compare with monk the way it brought a family together, esp kaitlin & i. it’s relieving how it all went down tonight though. ish.
goodbye, monk.for anyone who watched it: was it not EPIC?!
what is everyone’s favourite?
A well-deserved USA Monk Tribute. Great detective, great show. :)

HAHAHAHAHA this moment is GOLD
Stottlemeyer : Do you honestly think that she would do it here?
Monk : No, I don’t. And that is precisely why I do. And because I do, I don’t. So yes, I do.
An evil Mr. Monk…now that’s a show I want to see.
